Picture this: it's 8 a.m. and your field team is about to head out on a job. They need to confirm which materials to bring, how much they cost, and whether there's enough stock on record. But that information lives scattered across three different spreadsheets, none of them up to date, and nobody is sure which one is the correct version. The result: delays, duplicate purchases, and decisions made in the dark.
This is exactly the problem that CheckOP's new Supplies module solves.
With Supplies, all the information about materials, spare parts, and resources your operation uses is centralized in one place within CheckOP. There's no more cross-checking files or asking around in chat who has the latest version: every supply item has its name, category, code, and cost on record, ready to look up or attach to a task in seconds.
That means less time spent organizing information and more time spent on actual fieldwork, with the peace of mind that the data your team is checking is correct.
The module is organized into two parts that work together: categories and supplies.
Categories: Before registering a supply item, you define which category it belongs to, for example "Disposables" or "Electrical materials." Each category is created with a name and status, active or inactive. Only active categories are available to assign to a new supply item. If you deactivate a category, it isn't deleted: it still exists with its history, it just stops being offered for new records.
Supplies: This is where you register each individual item, with these fields:
Once created, the supply item appears in a general list where you can edit or delete it whenever you need. And to quickly find something in a long list, you can filter by name, by code or SKU, or by status, active or inactive.
All of this is connected to the rest of CheckOP, so registered supplies can be linked to tasks, giving you full traceability over what was used, where, and at what cost.
